In 2005 AIMS will celebrate its 40th anniversary. The association, of which Castlerea Musical Society is a member, was formed in Dublin in 1965. Over the years AIMS has grown from strength to strength. Over the past few months members of AIMS National Council have been preparing a programme of events to mark the anniversary. Events will include a Ruby Ball, special events at The AIMS Choral Festival, an extra special seminar and a National Concert.
The Ruby Ball will be held in Hotel Kilkenny on Saturday February 5th. This will be a formal dinner followed by entertainment and dancing until late. AIMS are encouraging as many people as possible to attend what promises to be a great night. Tickets are €60 but if a society books a table for 12 or more then they receive one free ticket.
