Along with the announcement of the AIMS nominations at the weekend, the Western Region of AIMS also announced the recipient of their scholarship to the AIMS Youth Summer School. Kevin Heaney, a member of Castlerea musical society will receive the scholarship for the week-long course which takes place in Thurles between July 3rd - 8th. The course is attended each year by young society members from all over the country and the students receive lessons from Mary-Rose McNally and well known director, Peter Kennedy. We wish Kevin the best of luck for the week-long course.
