Both an EGM and the AGM of the society took place on Monday 24th April 2006. While there were a number of apologies received for both meetings, there was a relatively good turnout of members on the night.
The EGM, which was called to make three amendments to the society's constitution, was a brief and effective meeting, with all three amendments being passed by the members present.
The subsequent AGM was also quite productive, with all committees for the coming year being established and some good discussions on events from the previous 12 months.
