The society is delighted to announce that it will run a "Stars In Their Eyes" event on Saturday March 24th in River Island Night Club, Castlerea. We ran a similar event in March 2005 which was a resounding success, and it is hoped that this time will prove to be just as successful.
Yet again, M.C. on the night will be Paul Claffey from Mid-West Radio. The line-up on the night has yet to be confirmed, but already a number of familiar locals have confirmed their involvement, along with friends of the society from further afield. The proceeds of the event will be split between the musical society and an African-based charity, which locals Niamh and Martin Kelly are currently involved with.
