The society was greatly saddened at the recent news of the passing of Mrs. Sally Keane, a founding member of the society. Sally had been very involved in the running of the society, particularly in its earlier years, spending many years on the society's committee. She was the society's Treasurer for 11 consecutive years from 1975 to 1985.
The society extends sympathy to Sally's family, some whom are active society members themselves - her daughter Anne Connaughton and grandson Niall Connaughton were both involved in our most recent production. May she rest in peace.
