Following on from the recent announcement that our show for 2019 will be Jesus Christ Superstar, the Society are now delighted to confirm the Production Team for the show.
Direction and Choreography for the show will be in the hands of Peter Kennedy, and musical director will yet again be Shane Farrell.
We are delighted to welcome Peter back to Castlerea after he directed our 2014 production of Ragtime The Musical. Peter has a wealth of experience and has recently completed his third year as an adjudicator for the Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS).
To everyone's delight, Shane returns for his 9th year with the Society. Shane also has vast experience working with many groups in the region and beyond, and was nominated for the AIMS Best Musical Director award in 2015 for his work on our production of Sister Act. He is currently the holder of the Best Musical Director award for his work on Sweeney Todd with his own group, Bravo Theatre Group, Loughrea, and will this weekend hope to win the award again, as he is nominated for his work on Ragtime The Musical, also with Bravo.

Jesus Christ Superstar will be staged in April 2019 in The Hub in Castlerea. Audition, rehearsal and other information will be available at a later date.
