The society's annual general meeting was held on Monday, April 11th in Tully's Hotel. The meeting, which had a relatively good attendance of approx. 25 people, was opened by the chairperson Mary Heaney. In her address to the meeting she thanked the outgoing committee for their hard work throughout what was a very successful year. She also thanked those from Boyle Musical Society who had joined us for the year and hoped that this would not be the end of such associations.
During the election of officers, there were some new faces and changes to the setup. Everyone wishes our new chairperson, Connie Gannon, the best of luck for the coming year. She has been joined by our new secretary, Derval Flynn. There was some also some interesting discussion held in relation to the production team and the physical staging of our shows.
