Castlerea Musical Society are delighted to announce that we are to set up a youth stage school for the young people of the area. The school, which is the brain child of society member Mary Heaney, will provide young people the opportunity to receive tuition from qualified teachers in the areas of drama, dance and singing.
It is hoped to start the school on 17th September and will run every Saturday morning for three hours. Pupils will sign up for a term and attend each Saturday.
The school will be the first of its kind in the town to cover such an extensive area of theatre and will undoubtedly provide the young people of the town with a wonderful opportunity for enjoyment, personal development and self-expression.
