Show Dates And Audition Information For "Oliver!" 2006

Following the decision to produce "Oliver!" as our musical for 2006, the show dates have been set. "Oliver!" will run for five nights from Monday 20th to Friday 24th February in the Riverisland Nite Club, Castlerea. This year we are delighted to welcome our new director, Leonard Anderson, on board and we are all looking forward to working with him.

By way of beginning the cast preparations for the show, there will be pre-audition rehearsals and auditions held to cast the show. The first pre-audition rehearsal, during which the music required for auditions will be taught, will take place on Tuesday 27th September at 8.30 pm in Tully's Hotel, Castlerea. The auditions for the show will take place on Thursday 6th October at 8.00 pm, again in Tully's Hotel. As usual, all are welcome to both the pre-audition rehearsal and indeed the rehearsals themselves. New members will be particularly welcome.

Of course, there will also be a number of children required for this year's show. The auditions for children will take place in Tully's on Thursday 29th September at 6.30 pm. These rehearsals are for children aged 8 years and older and are open to all those interested. No previous experience or rehearsal is required and we hope to see as many children as possible present on the night, as we will be looking to fill the roles of "Oliver Twist", "The Artful Dodger" and a chorus of children.
