The Society is deeply saddened at the news of the passing of former Society President, Harry Farrell. Harry was an ever-present violinist in our orchestra for many years. He first played in the orchestra for our first musical, Oklahoma!, in 1972, and played for 24 consecutive years up to his final show, Paint Your Wagon in 1996.
A man with a great depth of knowledge of musical theatre, he spent many years on our show selection committees, where his wit and honesty was always highly regarded. In 2002, Harry was elected as President of the Society, a position that he held for 6 years. He will be sadly missed by all Society members.
The Society extends it condolences to Harry's family and friends. May he rest in peace.
