AIMS Award Nomination for Best House Management for Titanic

Monday 21st May 2018 at 10:32 AM

The nominations in the AIMS Adjudication & Awards Scheme 2017/2018 were announced on Sunday last in New Ross, Co. Wexford. We were delighted to hear that the Society's production of Titanic The Musical has been nominated for the Best House Management award in the Gilbert section!

This nomination is, yet again, a fitting reward for our Front of House Manager, Clare Kelly, and all her team, including ticket sellers, programme sellers, car park attendants and ushers. Having won this very award at last year's awards ceremony, excitement levels will be high once again heading for Killarney.

Also nominated for the award is Athlone Musical Society (Jesus Christ Superstar) and Shannon Musical Society (The Wiz).

Congratulations also go to both our Musical Director, Shane Farrell, and our Director, Niall Heaney, who have been nominated for the Best Musical Director and the Best Director awards respectively for Ragtime The Musical by Bravo Theatre Group, Loughrea.

Our congratulations also go our friends in Ballinrobe Musical Society (Best Technical), Boyle Musical Society (Best Visual), Bravo Theatre Group, Loughrea (Best Chorus, Best Female Singer), Twin Productions, Galway (Best Comedienne), Athlone Musical Society (Best Programme) and St. Mel's Musical Society, Longford (Best Programme).

All award winners will be announced during the AIMS awards banquet, which will take place on Saturday 16th June in the I.N.E.C. in Killarney.
