The Society is delighted to announce that it's show for Spring 2024 will be 9 To 5 the Musical!
With a rip-roaring score by the Queen of Country, Dolly Parton, 9 to 5 the Musical is a comedy which tells the story of three workmates pushed to boiling point by their sexist and egotistical boss. Concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on their despicable supervisor, will the ladies manage to reform their office - or will events unravel when the CEO pays an unexpected visit?
The Society is also delighted to announce that the show will be directed by Ronan Lardner, who will be joining us for the first time. Ronan has previously joined us for Stars In Their Eyes fundraisers, and we extend him a very warm welcome.
We are also thrilled to see the return of long-time friend of the Society, Shane Farrell, as musical director. Shane has worked with us on and off for over 10 years, and look forward to working with him again.
Choreographer will be Ria Purcell, who returns to us having choreographed this year's production of The Addams Family.
Show dates and audition and rehearsal information will all be finalised later this year.
